house
I was going to write a post letting everyone know that it is 756 hours (give or take) until Spring. But, then I considered that weather doesn't often cooperate, it's only the beginning of mud season (at best) and well, it would be a rather short post. Taking the previous post of 4 words into account I thought I'd try to move the discussion of future housing.
I need pro's and con's of potential habitats. The biggest con is one that all will have in common (they are all in Wisconsin and not SE Asia.) sigh
I don't know where else to begin. I realize the money part has to be considered. But that goes without saying. What I want is too esoteric. I want sunshine and hominess and a "fun" place to be. I want the freedom to be creative in other areas. So, does that imply that a mansion is too big of a house?
What do you want in a home? What is a home suppose to be anyway (in the spiritual sense of home vs. house)? How does a home transcend meeting the physical need of shelter and become a place that enables a person to fly? (metaphorically speaking)

I don't know how to explain the concept of home. I don't know that I have one.
ReplyDeleteI once freaked Andrew out because we were going back to Appleton from DC and I was excited to be going home. I also said how excited I was to be going home in reference to his parents' house because we were leaving Joy's house.
I'm sorry I'm not more helpful :( I just refer to home as the place I am going, or want to be the most.
