animate is "motion" not happy. Although, one can make the point that Grace is only happy when in motion.
So, I guess you were right all along.
(well, except for the fact that you need to use the indefinite article 'an' not 'a' when preceding a noun or adjective that begins with a vowel or unvoiced 'h')
